If you’re noticing a trend with development projects with partners that you don’t know very well then you may be onto something. It's a common mistake that many real estate investors have made and continue to make. The reason being that development is one of the most lucrative ways to make money in real estate but it’s also one of the riskiest. If you’re thinking about getting into a project make sure you ask someone who you trust, knows real estate and isn’t a part of the project if you should really do it.
